Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles (born 1 February 1994) is an English artist and singer. His first musical venture began in 2010 , after he had been an individual contestant on The X Factor, a British music competition. He was later invited back to One Direction after his defeat. One Direction became one of the most successful boy groups in history before ending their hiatus in 2016. Styles has released his debut solo album on Columbia Records in 2017. The album was released at the number one spot across the UK and US as well as being among the world's top-ten best-selling albums in 2017. Additionally, the album's lead track, "Sign of the Times", topped at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Styles' second album Fine Line (1999), was a top-selling album in the United States. This album had the highest first-week in the sales history of an English male singer. The album was released in 2020. came into the Rolling stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In the meantime, the US Billboard Hot 100 was followed by its fourth hit single "Watermelon Sugar". Styles' third album, Harry's House (2022) was a huge success and garnered acclaim, getting the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2023. Its lead single, "As It Was" has been voted the best-selling single of the year worldwide as per Billboard. Styles has received various accolades such as six Brit Awards as well as three Grammy Awards, an Ivor Novello Award in addition to three American Music Awards.
