Her name was listed as one of this year's most popular teens in the July 2003 issue of Vanity Fair. In 2004 Vega filmed two movies: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. Following that she was a part of the Lifetime television series Odd Girl Out, as a victim of cyber-bullying. In 2006, she starred in a TV movie in 2006 called Walkout. in 2007, she wrapped shooting Remember the Daze which was only made available to limited theaters. She finished filming Repo! The Genetic Opera was released in 2008. 10. Vega has been confirmed to be playing the main part in Helix. The script was written and directed by Aram Rapaport. Filming began in Chicago, March 2008, and concluded in April 2008, with Vega playing the main character. The role was initially cast for the 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, however, due to being living in Australia for filming Broken Hill, she had to be replaced. Kat Dennings replaced her.
