Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's food is a way to get inside her world. Food she cooks up is a result of her interest in the culture in Los Angeles, which was sparked by a trip to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli and Carnitas can be found to live in harmony in the menus, an idea that has developed through the years. But what remains is her distinctive vision of the future while still wishing to reminisce about the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately well-received. Lofaso's interpretation of old-school Italian is widely praised as one of the best restaurants for Italian cuisine within Los Angeles. Lofaso serves consistently delicious food at Scopa, a neighborhood favorite. Customers describe it as authentic and satiating. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticate techniques however she wasn't afraid to take extraordinary risks to honor her instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago and went on to revamp several high-profile kitchens located in Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. In 2011 Lofaso worked along with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to launch Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Through Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found her home. The creative spirit of Lofaso could be enhanced through this collaboration. Black Market doesn't have one particular focus. It's their goal. The first course could be potatoes chips, peppers and some dill. This could be followed by Korean meatballs and wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso assesses the success she has had over the course of her career based on her natural ability to understand her audience and stay true to her personality. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars emphasized her ability to express her self outside of the culinary environment. In the years since she's maintained her career in front of cameras with CNN's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso teamed with Penguin to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook - 100 Recipes For quick Delicious homemade Meals in 2012. This cookbook also tells the story of her struggle as a mother of Xea and studying at The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso states that the reason to her achievement is derived from her kitchen. This is the way she keeps a pulse of the latest happenings. Chefletics transforms the way chefs dress by blending style with function. Lofaso cares about staying true to you and your vision. In order to achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new company will offer a customized experience for customers.
